How I Found My Purpose Through Clean Beauty and Community

For most of my life, I didn’t feel like I belonged.

By the time I was 12, life had handed me experiences no child should carry. I learned, in quiet and not-so-quiet ways, that my body wasn’t mine to protect. That my voice was meant to be swallowed. That shrinking was safer than standing tall.

I didn’t know it then, but those years planted the seed of a purpose I’d grow into later:
💛 Helping women feel safe in their own skin.
💛 Helping women feel like they belong.
💛 Helping women feel seen, heard, and whole.

And wild as it sounds, a skincare business helped me step into that purpose.

Not Just a Business—A Bridge

I joined Lemongrass Spa for the same reason a lot of women do: I loved the products and I needed income. That’s it. I just wanted clean, natural products that felt good on my skin with money to cover groceries and gas.

But as I started sharing, something unexpected happened. Women showed up, asked questions, stuck around, opened up and even came back.

We started talking about more than skincare. We talked about motherhood, marriage, mental health, confidence, and burnout. We laughed, vented, and supported each other. Somewhere between the facials and foot soaks, a community formed—and that is where I found my purpose.

Not in the sales.
Not in the incentives.
In the space. The space we create together.

We All Want to Belong Somewhere

Every time a woman joins my community, my team, or even just messages to say, “Thank you” I feel it again—that quiet nudge of this is it. This is what I’m here for.

To hold space and remind women that their stories matter.
To say, you belong here, exactly as you are.

Being a consultant with Lemongrass Spa has given me the tools. But the purpose? That was always in me. Now, I just have the vehicle to carry it out—with clean ingredients, intentional products, and a business that honors who I am.

This Is More Than Skincare

If you’re craving something that goes beyond the surface—something that feeds your soul while fitting into your life—know this:

You don’t have to shout to be heard.
You don’t have to be perfect to belong.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.

This isn’t just a business. It’s a place to plant your purpose and grow something beautiful.

If your heart’s been nudging you toward something more… maybe this is it.
